How do you engage your community? From my experience of working with and for the vulnerable community members I must say one of the best thing you can give to someone is a listening ear, giving people time to talk about what they are experiencing can help you visualize how to help them. Getting information first-hand from the people on the ground helps you develop practical solutions to their problems. Gone are the days one would wake up and think of doing something to help people in a community without seeking their input. Hey,been a minute since my last post but am back. Now, for the minute time I was away I was digging deep into the world of job creation and YES jobs are there but the experiences required are too high for some of us to qualify. More and more people are enrolling in universities and colleges to acquire a degree/diploma/certificate or even all of them, just to secure themselves jobs, others further their education just to be a step ahead to get multiple degrees all in the name of getting a job. While many jobs require a handful of experience, our fresh graduates with no experience end up losing the opportunity. But wait a minute, what if some of these graduates would be given an opportunity to just utilize their knowledge and skills within these organizations?
