MOTHER NATURE
Mother
Nature is changing her clothes
And Father
Time is watching
In a world
of malls, sports stadiums and concrete streets
We no longer
care for Mother Nature
Mother
Nature is real
Mother
Nature could take a month off
And nobody
would notice
While we
ignore Mother Nature at our own peril
She has a
way of slapping the ego out of the arrogant us
Mother
Nature is real
We see her
all around every time
She makes
the flowers bloom
The wind
blow
The angry
black clouds stain out the sun
Mother
Nature is real
For the last
two hundred years or so
We’ve been
fighting it out with her for supremacy
Are we
winning
Or have we
already lost
Mother
Nature is real
Majority of
us don’t seem to give a damn
Our egos are
so secure
We no longer
thank her for our existence
Mother
Nature is real
